Want to make money from home? If you can write a letter, you can write articles and can sell them online to Web sites which are desperate for content. You can sell your articles directly to Web sites, or you can create your own Web site, and sell advertising on the site. When people visit your site, you’re paid by your advertisers.
Let’s look at five easy articles types you can write:
1. The Instructional article: teach your readers how to do something
What do you know how to do? If you’re a student, you know how to study; if you’re a parent, you know how to calm a toddler; if you love your garden, you know how to pot a plant.
The How-to article tells people how to do a simple task, and you can write these quickly from your own experience.
2. Write Review articles for books, DVDs – anything at all
Whether you’ve bought a takeaway meal, or a car – any purchase, small or large, gives you the opportunity to write one or many review articles. Just be honest in your reviews.
3. Inspirational articles are always popular
Inspirational articles motivate people. If you’ve survived a difficult experience, you’ll got material for hundreds of articles. Tell others the secrets to surviving divorce, or surviving a serious illness.
4. List of tips: snippets of useful information
I can’t resist list articles. They’re easy to read, and I always find a nugget of information I can use. When you’re writing articles, list articles are a snap to write. You can make your list articles as long or as short as you like; you’re not restricted to “top ten” lists.
5. “How I did it” articles share your hard-won experience
What challenges have you had in the past week? Perhaps you locked yourself out of your car, or your house. Or perhaps you had to cook dinner for 20 people. Whatever challenges you’ve had, others have similar challenges.
For your personal experience article, simply describe your challenge, and how you solved that challenge.

You can also join the various sites and programs out there that will pay you to write your own posts on your own blog (Site reviews, product reviews etc). Although Google may downgrade page rank on that blog. I included a few of these networks in my 4 part series.

It’s true that the list format is very popular. If you go to sites like Digg, you’ll see that many of the highest ranked articles are in this style.
I had an experience related to this recently. I wrote some articles and submitted them to directories. There was only one I wrote in list form, and I thought this wasn’t as good as the others. Yet that’s the one that was taken up by publishers, while as of this writing the others have not been.
