Twitter To Remain Free

February 11, 2009 · 0 comments

Earlier this week some speculation started on the web, as whispers began about Twitter searching for ways to put a price tag on commercial member accounts. But Biz Stone of Twitter has nothing to report on this topic at the moment, merely to say that the Twitter team have just “been thinking out loud”.

According to Twitter’s blog post: Twitter  will not charge organizations for commercial accounts on the micro-blogging service. “Whatever we come up with, Twitter will remain free to use by everyone-individuals, companies, celebrities”.
